Yards Creek Scout Reservation is located off of Route 94 in Blairstown, NJ.
Coming from the south, you can take Route 31 north to its end. Then go left
on Route 46 for about 7 miles to Columbia. Proceed under Interstate 80. At
this point the road becomes Route 94. Alternatively, you can go west on I-80
and take the Route 94 North/Columbia Exit and arrive at the same position.
 
From Route 80 proceed north on route 94 for about 4 miles. You will see a
John Deere dealership on your left. Immediately beyond the dealership is a
crossroad. Just beyond the crossroad is a Dairy Queen on the right. The road
to the left is Walnut Valley Road, the road to the right is Vail Road. Turn left
and follow Walnut Valley Road uphill for about three miles to the Guard Station
for the Yards Creek Pumped Storage Facility. Stop at the Guard Station and check
in with the guard on duty. From this point you are about a mile from the YCSR
Parking Lot. Ask the guard to tell you which road to take to the camp.
