Cub Scout and Boy Scout Breakout Sessions

Cub Scout Leaders    Discussion of "how to's" for Pinewood Derby. Discussion topics will include helping scouts (and families) build the cars, organizing the event, the actual physical set-up (track, registration, audience), involving families, what awards to include, and most important, keeping it fun!! Leaders: please come prepared to share how the Pinewood Derby works in your pack.

                                  Review of Centennial Quality Unit progress.

Boy Scout Leaders    Klondike Derby update – skiing at Mountain Creek

Distribution of unit re-charter packages.

                                  Review of the re-charter process, emphasis on internet segment and closure after completion of internet segment.

                                  Review of Centennial Quality Unit progress.

 

PRESENTATIONS

 

If you would like to communicate something to the group at the Joint Session, Boy Scout Breakout, and/or Cub Scout Breakout, please contact Bob Jobst jobstsr@aol.com before the Roundtable, thanks. You will need to supply flyers to hand out. If you are in attendance, you will be introduced so that interested people can talk to you later, but verbal presentations will be limited.

 

ORDER OF THE ARROW

The Sanhican Chapter of the Sakuwit Lodge Number 2 hopes to hold monthly meetings on the same time schedule as the MAD Roundtable.  We will let you know when these are set to resume.

 

DISTRICT AWARD OF MERIT

The District Award of Merit is the highest award a District can bestow on an adult Scouter. Mercer Area District will be presenting these awards at our 2008 District Recognition Dinner, to be held on Sunday, March 2, 2008. If you would like to recognize a Scouter who has performed exemplary service - above and beyond the call - on behalf of the youth in the Mercer Area District, please submit your nomination to the Awards Committee by Saturday, February 2, 2008.
